Pivot Cycles Devo Team

Who is the Pivot Cycles Devo Team?

“Devo” in the Pivot Cycles Team stands for “Development”. Pivot wants to create better conditions for young, talented athletes who aim to participate in races.

The team is made up of Abby Hogie and Janis Lehmann.
Abby is an American living in Heidelberg, Germany, Janis is from Switzerland. Both are 20 years young.

Abby is pretty fearless and already very successful for her third elite year. In 2018 she was nominated for the World Championships. Janis has been nominated for the World Championship repeatedly and is an inherent part of the Swiss squad.

The two are trained by Katrin Karkhof, who as an experienced athlete and former World Championship rider, can pass on her knowledge and skills to the young athletes. This puts the team in a perfect position for success.

What are team’s goals?

After suffering broken bones last season, both riders are fighting back to Europe’s top and are competing in the European Cups and selected World Cups.
Abby is planning a longer stay in the US to participate in the 2019 National Championships and probably also the World Cup.
